About the Author

Vivienne Bolton was born in Durban, South Africa, the eldest of 6 children. She travelled to the UK in the 70's, and settled in a small Suffolk village where she raised her 5 children, who are now all quite grown up. Vivienne took to writing and designing when her youngest child started school, her first book The Doll House Decorator was published by Dorling Kindersley. Since then she has produced around 20 books - the latest of which From Mother to Daughter published by Kyle Cathie was published in October 2009. A seasonal book packed with recipes and housekeeping hints and embellished with personal comment, tales of a rich family upbringing this book epitomises all that is Vivienne Bolton. She continues to write, design, spending time with her daughters, friends and family. At present Vivienne lives in Norwich.
