"This book is such a fun search and find book. I love Bigfoot, kind of obsessed actually. As are my kids. We love having the debate: Is Bigfoot real? This book has been a fun way to spend the nights before bed. Challenging each other to find the hidden pictures. It has become one of our favorite bedtime routines. It really never gets old. Plus, you get to talk about all the places Bigfoot is visiting, which adds ever more fun. A great book for the kids or the entire family."

I am very happy with the BigFoot books and what they offer. There is great information, illustration is amazing, and I really like how interactive the book is. Plus, having a tour guide that is BigFoot makes it better.

I like the little bit of Bigfoot lore that was included, including the origin of the name and they way the creature is seen and what they are called in a variety of cultures, to make the hunt more interesting to young readers. There is also a good amount of information and history about each of the cities that bigfoot is hiding in throughout this book. I like the inclusions of real photographs from the locations, as well as the seek and find illustrations. I think many young readers will skip over the informational bits and just to the bigfoot hunts, but I feel like some will take the time to read, and any chance for them to continue learning I will fully support. Some of the seek and finds were challenging, but in a good way. I enjoyed the book and think that most that would pick up this style of book will agree.

The Bigfoot Seek and Find series is more than its parts. The text is presented in easily consumable paragraphs that kids in second grade will be able to read. There might be some new words here and there, but they'll be able to read them. Combine that with the fact there's a variety of engaging maps, pictures and humorous drawing and kids will have a very fun time engaging with these Bigfoot books.

About the Author

As with Bigfoot, D. L. Miller is a bit on the reclusive side, rarely seen in public, spending most of his days sketching from his studio located amongst the mighty oak trees only found in the deep dark woodlands far off the beaten path. After spending decades learning the habits of the elusive bipedal humanoid, he has finally agreed to share his illustrative journals that capture the sightings of this larger-than-life creature that has mystified generations.
