You can quickly carve this practical christmas tree.
Remove the hat trim to shape a cone, or use a rectangular wood blank
and shape it into a tree.
Draw branch lines, make stop cuts, and carve up to them to define the boughs.
Add branch texture with a micro V-tool and clean fuzz with a woodburner.
Paint the whole tree hunter green.
Once dry, dry-brush white highlights on the bough edges and tree top.
Finish with a coat of matte varnish.
