Meet the carvers behind
Woodcarving Illustrated.
105 Complete Issues, 1997 to 2024
Every page exactly as it was published — not excerpts, not a digest. Chris Lubkemann, Pat Coffey, Dwayne Gosnell, the Caricature Carvers of America and more than a hundred others, including carvers who no longer publish. Every project was carved and photographed before it printed.
1,200 patterns.
Every one prints
at full size.
Every pattern prints true to scale on a standard home printer. Print one whenever you need it, or enlarge it if you want a bigger line to follow. A video can’t hand you a pattern
“Woodcarving is something I plan to do until I wake up cold.” — John Burke, Woodcarving Illustrated's 2009 Woodcarver of the Year
1,200+ Full-Size Patterns
Every pattern prints true to scale on a standard home printer. Zoom in before you trace. Print at 120% if that suits your eyes or your hands. Lay it on the blank and go back to it twelve times. A video can show you the cut; it can't hand you the pattern.
