About the Author

Daron Parton is an award-winning illustrator with over 35 books to his name since he began his successful career in 1990. Licensed by Watermark Creative, Daron has also worked with The Wall Street Journal, The Age, the New Statesman, GQ, Esquire, Pearson, Scholastic, and Fairfax Magazines. | Kitty Black is a children’s book author with a background in psychology and education. While her profession required her to speak to people about their feelings, she discovered how important storytelling is in life. As a freelance writer and a mom, she rekindled her love for stories and began writing her own! Her first picture book, Who’s Afraid of the Quite Nice Wolf?, was published in 2019, and A Crocodile in the Family is her latest title.
