About the Author

Crista Forest is a professional wildlife artist specializing in traditional realism. Her work is sold in original oil paintings, fine art prints, and licensed in commercial products. Based in Seattle, Wash., she has also illustrated several children's books about wildlife. As the daughter of a landscape painter, Crista has been drawing and painting animals since she was old enough to hold a crayon. Her art captures the playful, cute, affectionate, or curious nature of the animals she draws, creating an emotional connection for the viewer
