About the Author

Based in Seattle, Wash., she has also illustrated several children's books about wildlife. As the daughter of a landscape painter, Crista has been drawing and painting animals since she was old enough to hold a crayon. Her art captures the playful, cute, affectionate, or curious nature of the animals she draws, creating an emotional connection for the viewer.
